What we collect

When you use PetMax, we collect:

The pet photo you upload (used solely to generate your portrait)
Your email address (if provided during checkout)
Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details)

Your photo is sent to our AI provider to generate the portrait, then deleted within 24 hours
Generated portraits are kept for 7 days, or for 30 days from when you email one to yourself, and then deleted. A portrait you buy is kept for at least 7 days after you buy it, so you can download it
Your email address is used to send what you ask for: your portrait preview, your receipt, and one reminder before an emailed portrait is deleted. Offers and Christmas print reminders are sent only if you tick the box for them, and you can unsubscribe at any time

We share your data with the following kinds of processor, and only as far as each needs it to do its job:

Stripe — payment processing, named because you deal with them directly at checkout
AI image providers — generating your portrait from your photo
Hosting and storage providers — running the site and holding your portrait until you download it
An email provider — sending your receipt and your portrait
A print and fulfilment partner — printing and posting prints, when you order one

We will tell you exactly which companies these are, and where they are based, if you ask at support@petmax.ai.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@petmax.ai.
